Healthy Cities Tutoring
Training on remote tutoring and new tutor orientation on Sept. 15
One hour a week – Flexible times – No previous experience needed

Grassroots Ecology
Youth Stewards Program, weekly commitment connect with one another, learn about nature from our expert staff, make a positive difference in the community, and help restore their local environment. Application due September 20.

Samaritan House
Food services for those in need, including hot meals, meal preparation and food drives.
Shifts are scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and require a minimum three month commitment

Second Harvest Food Bank
Mission: Lead our community to ensure that anyone who needs a healthy meal can get one.

San Carlos Youth Advisory
Deadline is coming up! Application Deadline and Important Dates: The deadline for submitting an application is Sunday, September 6 at 5:00 p.m. Interviews will take place the week of September 14.

Girls on the Run
Junior Coach:
Serving as a Junior Coach is a fun and rewarding way for individuals under 18 years of age to get involved with Girls on the Run and make a difference in the lives of girls throughout their community. You get to experience the program first-hand, feel a sense of accomplishment, and have fun with your team of coaches and incredible girls!

The position entails approximately 4 hours per week for an 8-week commitment.

San Mateo Student Democracy Program
For students 16 years old or older
Student Democracy Program is the San Mateo County Student Vote Center Ambassadors Program aimed at giving high school students an inside look at American democracy in action. Student Vote Center Ambassadors are essential members of the Election Day team, assisting voters and participating in Vote Center operations.
