Marianne spent over 10 years working alongside educators, administrators, students and parents in the San Carlos community. She launched Jett Ed to help students succeed, achieve personal goals, and create balance in their lives as they navigate high school.
In addition, her college counseling approach helps students focus on their goals and objectives to find the right college. Each student has his/her own unique personality, interests, talents, and accomplishments and we want find the right fit and highlight each student’s strengths.
Prior to Jett Ed, Marianne worked for several tech companies in the bay area in marketing and business development. Working with clients and developing strategies across various industries, Marianne understands how to work collaboratively with different stakeholders, to build trust, and to ask appropriate questions which help families navigate high school. Using her analytical skills, Marianne operates with a well-formulated plan, helping empower students to manage their work, stay organized and succeed in school.
As an active member of the community, Marianne is on the board of the Sequoia High School Education Foundation, she was involved with SCEF for almost a decade, has been a healthy cities tutor and Art in Action docent. In addition, Marianne chaired the alumni interview committee for Penn in the Bay Area for several years. A Los Angeles native, Marianne attended Phillips Academy in Andover, MA and she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in history where she captained the women’s crew team. Her experience as a D1 athlete and attending schools on the east coast has given her the opportunity to visit several college campuses all over the U.S.
